Glamglow Supermud, worth the hype ? || Le masque Supermud de Glamglow, top ou flop ?

I am here today to give you my thoughts on the glamglow supermud clearing treatment. I bought this mask in the first place because I was going through a hard time with my skin and it was so raved about on YouTube. I was hoping that it will help me with my pimples.

Aujourd’hui je reviens pour vous donner mon avis sur le masque Glamglow Supermud clearing treatment. J’ai acheté ce masque il y a quelques temps car ma peau traversait une mauvaise période et que tout le monde en vantait les mérites sur YouTube. J’espérais donc qu’il m’aide à me débarrasser de mes boutons.

The price and packaging || Le prix et le packaging

First let’s talk about the price of this mask. You can buy it at Sephora : 49,90€ for 34g. It is for sure a high hand product, and a splurge for people on a budget. I have been quiet disapointed of the quantity of this product : for the price, I was hoping a bigger capacity.

The packaging is simple but effective : white with silver detailling. It makes me think of something clean and luxurious which is totally in the spirit of the product.

Tout d’abord parlons du prix de ce masque. Vous pouvez l’acheter à Sephora pour 49,90€ les 34g. Il s’agit donc définitivement d’un produit de luxe et d’un investissement pour les personnes avec un budget modeste. J’ai été assez déçu par la taille de ce produit : pour le prix, je m’attendais à une contenance plus importante.

Le packaging est simple mais efficace : blanc avec des détails argentés. Ça me fait penser à quelque chose de propre et luxueux ce qui est totalement dans l’esprit du produit.

The aspect || L’aspect 

As you can see in the end of article picture, this mask looks like your regular clay facemask except that it is a tiny bit darker. After buying this product, I’ve started seeing reviews online saying that it was drying out real quick which is something I’ve experimented too. Not long after I bought it, dry patches started appearing in the product which I don’t get why as I’ve beeing carefully closing it each time after using it… I was originally planning on keeping this product for special occasion as it is a bit pricy but because of that I’ve had to use it really fast which is another deception of mine.

Comme vous pouvez le voir sur la photo à la fin de cet article, ce masque a l’aspect de votre masque d’argile habituel. Il est juste un peu plus foncé. Après avoir acheté ce produit, j’ai commencé à voir des avis en ligne comme quoi il séchait très vite et j’ai pu le constater par moi-même ! Peu de temps après l’avoir ouvert, des morceaux secs ont commencé à apparaître dans le masque ce que je ne comprends pas étant donné que j’ai bien fait attention de le fermer correctement après chaque utilisation… Je pensais à la base garder ce produit pour des occasions spéciales vu son prix, mais à cause de ce détail j’ai dû l’utiliser beaucoup plus vite que prévu ce qui est une autre déception pour moi.

 

 

The effects || Les effets

You will see lots of people telling you that they can actually feel the action of this mask while they have it on and I totally agree with that !  While you have it you will have a fresh and tingling sensations. But once you take it off… I don’t find the effects that amazing … Don’t get me wrong I am not saying that it does nothing, it will leave you with the sensation of a soft and super clean face but it didn’t had the action I was excepecting on my pimples. As you can see I nearly finished this mask and at no point I’ve had the impression that it helped me cleared my pimples…

Vous verrez beaucoup de personnes disant qu’elles peuvent sentir le masque agir pendant qu’il pose sur leur visage et sur ce point je suis totalement d’accord ! Lorsque que vous l’avez sur votre visage, vous pourrez sentir une sensation de fraîcheur et des picotements.  Mais une fois que vous l’enlevez… je ne trouve pas les effets si incroyable que ça … Ne vous méprenez pas je ne dis pas que ce masque n’a aucun effet, vous aurez la peau douce et nettoyée en profondeur, mais il n’a pas eu l’action que j’attendais sur mes boutons. Comme vous pouvez le voir sur la photo, j’ai presque fini mon pot et à aucun moment je n’ai eu l’impression qu’il m’ait aidé à me débarrasser de mes boutons…

Conclusion

As you would have understand, this mask is OK but it is not amazing and so not worth the price in my opinion. If you are on a budget, don’t loose your time with it. I am personally not going to repurchase it as I have other cheaper products that works better and that I will soon present you in a « how to clear your skin » routine. 

Vous l’aurez compris, pour moi ce masque est correct mais pas exceptionnel et ne vaut donc pas son prix. Si vous avez un budget modeste passez votre chemin, je ne compte personnellement pas le racheter étant donné que je possède des produits bien moins cher et plus efficaces que je vous présenterais sous peu dans une routine anti boutons.
